Position Overview

STREAMLINE CABINETS is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join its team. The successful candidate will manufacture, assemble and install custom cabinetry, including kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, wardrobes, shelving and other built-in fittings.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.

• Measure, mark, cut and shape timber, manufactured boards and laminates.

• Manufacture and assemble cabinets, cupboards, wardrobes and other custom joinery.

• Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely.

• Fit hinges, handles, drawer runners, shelves and other cabinet hardware.

• Check completed cabinetry for accurate measurements, alignment and quality.

• Prepare cabinetry for delivery and install completed products on-site.

• Repair, adjust or replace cabinetry and components where required.

Skills and Experience

• Certificate III in Cabinet Making, Carpentry, Joinery or another relevant trade qualification.

• Relevant practical experience in manufacturing, assembling and installing cabinetry.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work accurately from measurements.

• Experience using woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Current driver’s licence preferred.

Salary: This is a full-time position with a competitive remuneration package ranging from $79,423 to $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
