ANMLEX Industries is a Melbourne-based construction project management business specialising in the delivery of high-end luxury residential projects.

The Role

This is a hands-on executive leadership position with responsibility for the overall management, performance and future direction of ANMLEX.

Working closely with the Directors and senior personnel, the Chief Executive will translate the company's vision into clear business strategies and measurable organisational objectives. The position will have executive oversight of business operations, financial performance, people and resources, organisational risk, client relationships and opportunities for sustainable growth.

We are seeking a commercially astute leader who combines strategic thinking with the ability to turn business objectives into effective operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Executive will:

• establish and implement the strategic direction, business objectives, policies and long-term plans of ANMLEX.

• translate the organisation's vision and growth objectives into practical business strategies, priorities and performance targets.

• provide overall executive leadership and direction across the company's construction project management and associated business operations.

• identify and evaluate opportunities for business growth, market development, strategic partnerships and expansion of the company's service capabilities.

• oversee financial planning, annual budgets, forecasting and management reporting, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support commercial and operational objectives.

• monitor business performance against financial, operational and strategic targets and initiate corrective or improvement strategies where required.

• oversee organisational risk management and establish appropriate controls to identify, assess and mitigate commercial, operational, financial and workforce risks.

• review the company's operating structures, systems and processes and lead improvements that enhance efficiency, accountability and organisational performance.

• authorise and oversee the allocation of financial, human and material resources across the organisation.

• establish organisational structures, management responsibilities, performance expectations and reporting frameworks appropriate to the company's strategic objectives.

• provide executive leadership to managers and employees and build a performance-focused organisational culture.

• oversee workforce planning and senior-level recruitment, performance management, capability development and succession requirements.

• lead organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives as the business develops and its operational requirements evolve.

• oversee the development and implementation of company policies, procedures and governance frameworks.

• review operational and management reports and consult with senior personnel on business performance, resource requirements and emerging issues.

• maintain executive oversight of key projects and project pipelines to ensure the company's resources and broader business priorities remain appropriately aligned.

• develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other key industry stakeholders.

• represent ANMLEX in significant commercial discussions, negotiations and strategic business relationships.

• promote high standards of client service and ensure that organisational systems support the delivery of quality outcomes.

• oversee compliance with applicable corporate, employment, workplace and construction-related regulatory requirements; and

• report to and consult with the Directors regarding organisational performance, significant commercial matters, strategic opportunities and future business direction.

About You

You will be an experienced senior business leader with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop an organisation through periods of growth and change. You will bring a combination of commercial judgement, strategic planning capability and hands-on leadership experience, together with a strong understanding of how people, financial resources, operating systems and customer relationships contribute to sustainable business performance.

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

• substantial senior management, executive leadership or entrepreneurial business management experience.

• demonstrated experience developing and implementing business strategies and translating strategic objectives into operational outcomes.

• experience leading and developing business operations, including establishing or improving organisational systems and processes.

• strong financial and commercial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and resource allocation.

• demonstrated experience identifying business growth opportunities and implementing initiatives to improve organisational performance.

• strong capability in organisational risk management, governance and business process improvement.

• experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing effective organisational and management structures.

• demonstrated experience in workforce planning, performance management and organisational development.

• strong stakeholder management skills with experience managing significant client, commercial and business relationships.

• experience implementing organisational change, restructuring or continuous improvement initiatives.

• strong analytical, negotiation and executive decision-making capability; and

• the ability to provide strategic leadership while maintaining effective oversight of day-to-day organisational performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess either:

• a relevant Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Business, Commerce, Management, Business Administration, Project Management or a related discipline, together with at least 1 year of relevant senior management, executive leadership or entrepreneurial business management experience; or

• where a relevant formal qualification is not held, at least 5 years of relevant senior management, executive leadership or entrepreneurial business management experience.

Additional relevant executive or senior management experience will be highly regarded.
