$71,481 + super

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality and implements control measures if required

• Train and supervise sorters and packers

• Allocate staff to jobs/roles on packing lines

• Setup packing line prior to production

• Organise packaging stock for the capsicum line

• Prepare packaging and labelling for days production

• Implement daily scheduled packing plan

• Run the packing line using computerised software

• Implement food safety system for the packing line

• Complete all required QA documents daily

• Take and check required samples daily

• Determine daily staff requirements based on scheduled packing plan

• Re-train staff in response to quality issues

• Coordinate with the Despatch Manager, Packhouse Supervisor/Manager to manage stock and order fulfilment

• Make adjustments during the day based on order requirements and completion

• Allocate staff to cleaning areas/zones for end of day cleaning

• Implements all WHS requirements & raises any issues with Management

• Participate in audits, traceability exercises and HACCP team as required.

To be successful in this role you require a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
