Diesel Motor Mechanic - Sunvale Produce

C D and B A Natale Pty Ltd (trading as Sunvale Produce) is a horticulture company based in Tol Tol Victoria that supplies avocados and table grapes to national supermarkets. C D and B A Natale Pty Ltd is seeking a full time qualified and licensed Diesel Mechanic.

The salary offered is $117,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Diagnosis of faults

• Repair and servicing of cooling systems, fuel systems, air conditioning, emission control systems, transmissions and clutch assemblies

• Repair of ignition, electronic management and electrical systems

• Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune and test diesel powered heavy vehicles

• Detect mechanical and electrical faults using industry standard instruments and equipment

• Repair and maintain hydraulic components and systems of heavy equipment

• Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools associated with their trade

• Utilise maintenance manuals and procedures to perform repairs and maintenance to required standards

• Record and report all repairs and maintenance activities on the established documentation and hand to the Maintenance Supervisor on completion

The applicant is required to have:

• Relevant formal qualification such as Certificate 4 in Automotive Technology or equivalent

• At least 3 years full time work experience in an auto garage, industry or horticulture setting
