Full Time Stone Mason

SALARY: $78,000 to $88,000 per annum + SUPERANNUATION

As a Stone Mason, you contribute to the production of our premium stone products. You will work under the direction of the Factory Manager to fabricate, assemble, and finish stone pieces according to specifications. Completing projects in the factory ready for installation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain stone-cutting and shaping machinery.

• Cut, shape, and polish stone using hand tools and power tools.

• Follow and interpret drawings and other specifications to ensure accuracy and precision in stone fabrication.

• Assemble and install stone pieces according to design requirements.

• Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used and reporting shortages.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

• Proven experience as a Stone Mason or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in operating stone-cutting and shaping machinery.

• Strong knowledge of stone materials, properties, and characteristics.

• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.

• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

• Trade certification or relevant qualification in stone masonry is preferred but not required.
