Physiotherapist - PT 3 days for Bankstown Sydney

Position: Physiotherapist – Aged Care (Part-time 3 days)

Location: Bankstown Sydney, NSW

Salary Range: $39–$42 per hour + super (award basis)

Client Demographic: Aged-care residents (predominantly older adults in residential/community aged-care settings)

Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years preferred; new graduates are welcome if passionate about aged care

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who’s excited about making a difference in the lives of older adults. In this role you’ll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in aged-care settings, working to maintain and improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan and implement physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged-care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry

Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly

Promote best-practice aged-care therapy and support accreditation requirements

Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current General AHPRA registration

At least 2 years’ relevant experience—preferably in aged care or allied health settings

New graduates who are enthusiastic about aged-care are encouraged to apply

Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal aptitude and a genuine interest in elderly wellbeing

Willingness to work Monday to Friday, and uphold high standards of therapy service delivery
