About the role:
-MKCB PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced Pressure Welder to join our team in Gnangara, Western Australia. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in our company's operations. As a Pressure Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on a variety of pressure vessels, pipework, and other specialised equipment to the highest safety and quality standards.
What you'll be doing:
-Executing welding tasks on pressure vessels, pipework, and other specialised equipment to industry-leading standards
-Interpreting and following engineering drawings, specifications, and welding procedures
-Ensuring all work meets rigorous quality and safety requirements
-Collaborating with the wider team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges
-Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all welding activities
-Undertaking routine maintenance and calibration of welding equipment
What we're looking for:
-Formal qualifications in welding, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
-Extensive experience as a pressure welder, with a proven track record of high-quality work
-Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a pressure welder, or equivalent demonstrated competency in high-quality welding work
-Strong working knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures
-Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
-Good communication and teamwork skills
-Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing
-Current White Card and Working at Heights certification
-Valid Confined Space certification
-Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
