About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Motor Vehicle Accessory Fitters to join our friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform advanced diagnostics and fault finding on vehicles

* Carry out auto electrical repairs including wiring, sensors, starters, alternators, and other electrical components.

* Conduct routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on various vehicles.

* Install and wire vehicle accessories including alarms, radios, lighting systems, and 4x4 electrical components.

* Complete 4x4 fit-outs, suspension upgrades, and accessory installations.

* Provide technical support, customer consultation, and recommendations for vehicle accessories and upgrades.

* Manage stock control, workplace safety compliance, and coordination of workshop personnel.

What We’re looking for

* At least 2 years of proven experience as an Auto Electrician and/or Accessory Fitter within the automotive industry.

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Experience with 4x4 fit-outs, suspension upgrades, and accessory installations is highly regarded.

* Sound knowledge of vehicle servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

* Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to provide technical advice and recommendations.

* Relevant trade qualifications and a current driver’s licence are highly desirable.

What We Offer

* Attractive hourly rate, equivalent to an annual salary of $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience, skills, and relevant qualifications.
