Driller Operator

MACA is looking for skilled Driller Operators to join our business across a number of sites. In this role, you'll be a key part of the team, making sure operations run smoothly every day.

Key responsibilities:

Safely operate blast hole drills to drill holes to specified depths and patterns according to blast designs

Conduct pre-start checks and inspect drilling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

Work closely with Shotfirers and Supervisors to achieve accurate drill patterns

Monitor ground conditions and adjust drilling techniques to suit varying terrain and rock types

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 4 Years' experience in drill and blast operations

Experience with Sandvik D1650i, DP1500i and DR410i & CAT MD6250

Current Drivers Licence (manual essential)

HR Licence (advantageous)

Strong communication skills
