Electronic Equipment Trades Worker

Steamatic is Australia’s longest established and largest restoration Company with over 35 locations throughout Australia and growing each year. We have available work Nationwide in Metropolitan and Regional areas.

We are now looking to recruit Electronic Equipment Trades Workers to join and work with our dedicated service team.

About the role

Examine and test machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults

Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments

Reassembling. Test operating and adjusting equipment

Small and medium electronics repairs (TV’s, whitegoods).

Tag and testing

Self-motivated and energetic individual with an eye for detail

Take pride in your work and being able to work autonomously or as part of a team.

Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems

Previous experience as electronic equipment trade worker is a must

Skills and Experience

Liaising with clients onsite

Customer service

Completion of paperwork on iPad and reporting

Provide practical solutions to issues as they arise

The successful candidate must have the right to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo drug and alcohol testing, a Working with Children Check and a full Police Check.
