As part of its ongoing manufacturing operations, Storemasta is currently looking for skilled Welders to join its team and contribute to the production of its high-quality storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Weld and fabricate steel components for storage cabinets and other products manufactured by Storemasta.

* Read workshop drawings and measurements to ensure components are cut, fitted and welded correctly.

* Prepare materials, set up welding equipment and carry out welding and fabrication work to the required standard.

* Check finished work for weld quality, dimensions and overall fit, and make adjustments where needed.

* Work with the production team to complete jobs on time while maintaining good workmanship and attention to detail.

* Keep welding equipment, tools and the work area clean, organised and safe, and follow all workplace safety procedures.

Requirements and Skills

* Trade qualification in Welding or Fabrication is desirable, or at least 3 years of proven experience working as a Welder.

* Practical experience with MIG welding and a range of welding equipment and processes.

* Confident using workshop tools and equipment, including saws, squares, calipers and other measuring or hand tools.

* Able to read and understand technical drawings, measurements and job specifications.

* Good understanding of safe welding practices and the ability to carry out work safely and to a consistent standard.

* Reliable and cooperative, with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a production team.

* A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

What we offer:

* Salary of $65,000–$85,000 per year, depending on experience and skills.
