Senior Hairdresser/Stylist

YJS (QLD) Pty Ltd are currently seeking candidates for full-time Senior Hairdresser/Stylist for their salon in Smithfield, QLD.

Your duties & responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Offering expert advice on hair care, styling, products and treatments to help clients achieve their desired look.

Performing a variety of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments with precision and creativity.

Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry to continuously enhance your skills.

Maintaining a clean and organised work station to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for clients and colleagues.

Building and maintaining client relationships through attentive communication and personalised service.

Collaborating with team members to create a cohesive and supportive work environment.

handling cash and administrative duties at the end of the day

organising appointments via phone and in-person

maintaining a hygienic work environment

collaborating with team members to provide quality service.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Min. 5+ years demonstrated hairdressing/stylist skills/experience

Trade certificate in Hairdressing or equivalent/on-the-job training

Sound knowledge of hair cutting, colouring & styling

Sound knowledge of haircare products and advice

Exceptional customer service skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Annual Base Salary of $72,000-$80,000.
