Motor Mechanics

ARB Artarmon is seeking experienced and qualified Motor Mechanics to join their Service Departments in Artarmon and Brookvale NSW.

Purpose / Main area of Responsibilities: Perform a range of engine & mechanical tests, to diagnose, repair and service as detailed per product warranty guidelines, company policy and instructions to high level of quality in an efficient manner.

Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:

- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles.

- Perform engine upgrades, rebuilding, repairs required and scheduled maintenance servicing.

- Repair or install suspension kits/lift kits as required.

- GVM upgrades on 4WD vehicles to meet legislative restrictions, including rear leaf springs replacement.

- Long range Fuel tank replacements to meet all compliance restrictions.

- Installation/replacement of Catch Cans, pre-fuel filter kits etc

- Repair or installation of general mechanical 4WD accessories

- Maintain sound knowledge of all ARB and partners mechanical products and services.

- Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.

- Ensuring the safe work practices

- Be responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the Workshop.

- Be responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment and return to correct place after use.

- Providing high level guest service

Required Experience, skills and Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

- Current Driver's License

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 - $95,000pa commensurate with experience.
