Position Overview:
VIPOOL Services - A team of fully qualified pool technicians with many years of friendly and dependable pool service experience, dedicated to delivering high-quality services and practical advice.
As an Electronic Equipment Technician at VIPOOL Services, you will be responsible for programming, diagnosing, repairing, testing and maintaining electronic equipment and control systems used in pool servicing operations. This position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and the ability to support reliable equipment performance.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Program and troubleshoot electronic modules used in pool equipment and associated control systems.
• Recommend changes to circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly, servicing and ongoing maintenance.
• Gather, interpret and enter equipment failure data into computerised tracking systems and prepare relevant reports.
• Diagnose and repair defective electronic parts and components to ensure the correct functioning of pool service equipment and related machines.
• Reassemble, test, operate and adjust equipment following repairs, maintenance or component replacement.
• Interpret electronic codes and convert technical information into plain language, including preparing messages or instructions for transmission.
• Assist with the service and installation of related IT, PC and electronic devices used to support field and workshop operations.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for electronic equipment servicing, testing and repair.
• Advise users on correct operating procedures to help prevent equipment malfunctions and avoid unnecessary faults.
• Commission and maintain electronic control systems by applying sound electronic knowledge and diagnostic techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
? Relevant qualification.
? Minimum 1 year experience as an Electronic Equipment Technician
? Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and electronic repair skills.
? Ability to read, interpret and apply technical information, circuitry and equipment specifications.
? Strong attention to detail with accurate reporting and maintenance of technical records.
? Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain correct equipment operating procedures.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
