About this job
SMP Fabrication Pty Ltd, a leading structural steel and fabrication company is seeking an experienced Pressure Welder to join their growing team in Wauchope, NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform pressure welding, fabrication, assembly and repair work
· Interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
· Prepare, fit, align and weld components and pipework
· Inspect weld quality and undertake repairs where required
· Maintain welding records and comply with quality standards
· Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Skills and Qualifications
· Trade qualification (Certificate III/IV in Engineering Fabrication or similar)
· Proven experience in pressure welding
· Current welding qualifications/certifications
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively within a team
Salary range is $75,000 - $90,000pa commensurate with experience.
Full-time Position available.
