We are seeking a reliable and skilled Storeperson – Chiller Hand to join our team and support the daily operations of our chilled and frozen seafood storage areas.

In this hands-on role, you will work within temperature-controlled environments to receive, check, handle, store, and prepare a wide range of fresh, chilled, and frozen seafood products. You will help maintain the integrity of the cold chain, ensure accurate stock management, and uphold strict hygiene and food-safety standards so our customers continue to receive the freshest quality seafood. Task & responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify seafood deliveries for freshness, temperature, quality, and accuracy. Safely unload vehicles and transfer products into chilled and frozen storage areas. Maintain stock accuracy through scanning, labelling, and computerised inventory systems.

Weigh, pack, label, and prepare seafood orders for retail and wholesale customers. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, trolleys, and cold-store equipment safely and efficiently. Perform regular stocktakes and maintain organised storage areas.

Follow strict hygiene, sanitation, food-safety (HACCP), and WHS procedures at all times. Work effectively in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments while maintaining product quality. Qualification & experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in seafood, meat, produce, warehouse or cold-store environment.

Experience with perishable goods and stock-management systems. Qualifications in warehousing, logistics or related fields are desirable. Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently in cold-room conditions.
