Sassy Mamma Pty Ltd Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard. Follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portion sizes. Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new and seasonal dishes.

Monitor food quality, freshness and portion control. Manage food preparation and ensure ingredients are available and properly stored. Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies. Minimise food wastage and maintain effective cost control.

Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service. Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff where required. Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods.

Maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen operations during busy service periods. Qualification & experience Skills and Experience Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills.
