EEAI Supervisor

Lead the day-to-day delivery of the EEAI program, supporting children and young people in Maningrida to attend and engage with school. Duties include:

Supervising EEAI Assistants and coordinating daily staff duties.

Planning student pickup routes, transport, staffing and vehicle use.

Monitoring daily attendance and engagement activities and responding to issues as they arise.

Supporting positive and culturally appropriate engagement with students, families, school staff and community members.

Following up attendance concerns and barriers affecting school participation.

Overseeing attendance, activity, vehicle and incident records and program reporting.

Ensuring vehicles and program resources are safe and ready for daily use.

Ensuring the team follows child safety, confidentiality, WHS and BHAC procedures.

Reporting significant staffing, welfare, safeguarding, operational or safety concerns to the Projects Manager.

Requirements

Experience coordinating or supervising a community, education, youth, family support or similar service.

Experience supervising staff, allocating work and providing clear direction and support.

Strong organisation skills with the ability to coordinate staff, vehicles, routes and daily priorities.

Good communication and relationship-building skills.

Understanding of child safety, confidentiality, professional boundaries and WHS.

Ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to program reporting.

Current driver licence, Ochre Card and National Police Certificate, or ability to obtain them.
