Cream & Sugar Pty Ltd trading as CATERING HQ BRIGHTON LAKES is looking for full time Chefs and Cooks for their busy venue at Brighton Lakes Recreation & Golf Club located in Moorebank, New South Wales.

Brighton Lakes Recreation & Golf Club is home to an architecturally designed clubhouse which provides stunning views over the golf course and lake. The venue operates two outlets: The Pavillion is a sophisticated restaurant, with a large balcony overlooking the lush green of Brighton lakes. The menu is inspired by international flavours and features chargrilled items, classic comfort food and pan to plate meals. Tucked away under the golf club, Sweet Spot Cafe looks out over the rolling green offering light meals and barista coffee.

To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

-Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality

-Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment

-Preparing, seasoning and cooking food

-Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes

-Storing food in temperature controlled facilities

-Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes

-Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control

-Work with the chefs on food preparation and seasonal menu planning

-Immaculate presentation and grooming

-Ability to handle large service numbers

-Above average customer care and service skills

-Assist with training our junior team on cooking techniques and procedures

-Contribute to planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
