SatinTouch is the Protective Coatings Applicator of choice for Government, Mining, Construction and Heavy Industry across metropolitan, regional and remote areas of Queensland and Northern NSW.

Our specialist services are mobile, to cost effectively meet 5-20 year coating maintenance cycles - and we are engaged directly by Government and Industry clients, for the remediation and/ or protective coating component of major infrastructure and utilities construction, shutdown and maintenance works.

We are seeking highly qualified Painter to join our team of professionals on a full time and permanent basis

The role includes but is not limited to:

Understand surface preparation and finishes.

Proper handling of all vehicles giving it due care and detailed attention

Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.

Be able to mix correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.

Proper appropriation of consumables and materials to avoid wastage

Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.

Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.

Able to carry out minor repairs as and when deemed necessary

Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Erecting scaffolding and ladders.

Cleaning equipment and work areas.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters)

High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift

Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs)

HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift

Drivers Licence (MR or HR class)

Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
