Food and Beverage Supervisor

Kimberley Hotel located in the stunning Kimberley region of North-west Western Australia is currently seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dedicated team to support the Bar Manager in overseeing the food & beverage department, including day to day operations and associated administration.

Our venue consists of an 80 room hotel with a la carte restaurant, 3 bars (sports, cocktail & saloon) and bistro dining alongside a 100 Single person quarter camp and associated catering arrangement with a local resource company. Most of the up to 50 staff also live on-site and this is the only pub in the town of over 1,500 residents plus a seasonal tourist trade.

This is a hands-on role within our busy venue, so you must be passionate, customer-centric, display an excellent work ethic and lead by example. Our team come from across Australia and the globe.

Key responsibilities & requirements:

• Provide leadership in the bar and restaurant

• Planning and organising special functions

• Arranging and ordering stocks

• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance

• Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service

• Take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders

• Ability to work well within a team environment or autonomously as required

• Ability to be flexible with shifts, a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, evenings and early mornings is required
