MELON AND PUMPKIN AND CAPSICUM FARM WORKERS

Melon & Pumpkin & Capsicum Harvest Workers Required – Bundaberg QLD

We are currently seeking 150 Melon & Pumpkin Harvest Workers for upcoming seasonal work in Bundaberg QLD.

This work is physically demanding and suitable for individuals who are fit, healthy, and capable of performing manual labour in outdoor conditions.

Working Conditions

The work may involve:

Repeated bending and lifting throughout the day

Standing for extended periods while packing produce

Working both indoors and outdoors

Working in varying weather conditions, with temperatures ranging from approximately 10°C to 40°C

Applicants must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous manual work.

1. Weekly Hours & Pay Rates

Average hours: Approximately 30 hours per week

Hourly Pay Rates (Horticulture Award)

First 3 months: Level 1 – $32.18 per hour

After 3 months: Level 2 – $33.05 per hour

Rates are paid in accordance with the Australian Horticulture Award.

2. Expected Start Date

Around 2 November 2026

3. Duties

Harvesting and packing Melon & Pumpkin & Capsicum

Planting and weeding

Rolling and removing plastic mulch

General farm labour duties as required

4. Transport & Accommodation

Transport and accommodation can be arranged by our company if required (charges apply).

Workers may also use their own transport.

The travel time between Griffith town and the farm is approximately 30–40 minutes each way.

Requirements

No previous experience required

No formal qualifications required

Must be physically fit and able to undertake repetitive bending, lifting, carrying, and other manual labour tasks throughout the day

Must be willing to work in hot outdoor conditions
