Location: Darra, QLD Pay Rate: $38.34/hr (Casual) Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing - Monday to Friday Hours: Shifts may vary, from 3:00am to 4:30pm Start Date: Immediate Start Available Employment Type: Casual with potential for permanent placement

About the Role

You'll be operating tile manufacturing machinery to support the production of high-quality roofing materials. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who thrives in a team setting and is committed to maintaining high safety standards.

Key Tasks and Duties

Racker operation

General clean up and maintenance of work area

Profile change overs

Fill out quality data sheets

Oil level checks

Monitoring raw material feed to identify and reject product

Monitor extrusion process to ensure all tiles are made to standards

Once trained, assist new operators

Reset tile machine and start

Fill sand bins if required (with relevant tickets)

Ensure recycle conveyors are kept clean

General asset care and maintenance

Relieve of other positions as and if necessary

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation (preferred but not essential)

Experience with machine operation (highly regarded)

Good level of hand eye coordination and manual dexterity

Basic computer literacy and ability to read/write effectively

Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices

Physically fit - must be able to pass a fitness assessment

Reliable transport to Darra for early start - no public transport

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
