Junior Accountant (General)

Dynamic Support Services An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and dedicated Junior Accountant (General) to join our growing organisation. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound analytical and organisational skills, a professional and proactive attitude, and a commitment to long-term employment and development within the organisation. Benefits Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 excluding Super depending on experience Task & responsibilities The Junior Accountant (General) has the following responsibilities: • Assisting in the formulation of the organisation’s budgetary and accounting policies; • Producing various financial reports and presenting to relevant managers and externals; • Conducting financial audit and investigations; • Ensuring accurate fulfilment of taxation obligations; • Examining income and expenditure reports, profit and loss statement, and trial balances; • Incorporating new financial updates from the ATO, ASIC, Fair Work; • Assist in the preparation of receipts and other documents for quarterly BAS lodging; • Liaising with other stakeholder in regards to the participant’s account records; and, • Maintaining accounting systems such as MYOB and XERO.

NDIS Accounting Special Tasks: • Auditing financial compliance and competence against the NDIS framework; • Understanding regulations and incorporating financial updates from the NDIA; • Managing cash flow and financial situation for the NDIS-accredited organisation; • Ensuring the reconciliation of accounting records with the NDIS price guide; and, • Understanding the breakdown of NDIS Plans. Skills • Ability to breakdown complex information into a simpler explanation • Good and professional communication skills • Familiarity with latest accounting jargon • Good organisational skills • Inherent honest and transparent nature Qualification & experience • Relevant Accounting degree • Minimum of 1 - 2 years work experience in a similar field About Company Dynamic Support Services is an NDIS Accredited Provider with a scope of involvement with assisting those who have a wide range of disabilities and psychosocial disabilities for people of all ages.
