Benefits Full-time and competitive remuneration package Ongoing training and career development Diverse projects across electrical, communications and infrastructure sectors Strong pipeline of NT projects Locally owned and operated business Supportive team culture and long-term career opportunities Task & responsibilities Reporting to the Communications Supervisor, you will: Install and terminate data, fibre optic and communications cabling systems Complete structured cabling installations including Cat6, Cat6A and fibre networks Test, fault-find and certify communications systems Read and interpret plans, schematics and technical documentation Install cable pathways, trays, conduits and communications infrastructure Ensure all works comply with relevant standards and project specifications Complete quality assurance documentation and testing records Work safely and professionally on active project sites Qualification & experience ACMA Open Cabler Registration (essential) Experience in commercial or industrial communications installations Experience with structured cabling and fibre optic systems Ability to read plans and follow technical specifications Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills Current White Card Current Driver's Licence Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Highly Regarded Fibre certification and testing experience Defence project experience EWP, Working at Heights and First Aid certifications Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) About Company MEC NT is a dynamic and diverse company delivering high-quality electrical services across the Northern Territory.
