Motor Mechanic

We are currently looking to recruit multiple experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our teams throughout Brighton VIC.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Removing rough spots on vehicle panels

- Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders

- Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper

- Color matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint

- Applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats

- Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles

- Removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork

- Painting signs and artwork on vehicles

- Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals

Skills & Abilities:

- Process-oriented logical thinker

- Good hand-eye coordination

- Strong attention to detail

- Bring a positive attitude to work.

- Meeting Body & Paint standards.

- Maintain Quality standards and minimize re-work.

- Finish all jobs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing

At least 3 years experience

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.

Multiple Full-time Position available.
