Placed.au is looking for a full-time Massage Therapist for our client in Bendigo, Victoria. This role is responsible for assessing clients' conditions, managing soft tissue injuries, developing tailored treatment plans, and applying a range of remedial massage techniques to assist clients with pain management and recovery.

Job Description

• Manage soft tissue injuries for clinic clients using an assortment of remedial massage techniques.

• Assess clients' conditions and investigate sources of pain to determine appropriate remedial massage treatments.

• Create tailored and appropriate treatment plans for clients based on their sources of pain and individual circumstances.

• Utilise a range of remedial massage techniques to assist in managing pain associated with sporting injuries, spinal injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders.

• Apply remedial massage techniques including lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, cupping, relaxation techniques, and deep tissue massage to target clients' specific pain and treatment needs.

• Take detailed clinical notes following consultations and accurately record information in the Cliniko system.

• Review and utilise clinical notes to assess clients' injuries and assist with ongoing injury management.

• Recommend appropriate exercises and stretches to assist clients with their recovery.

• Ensure the clinic remains tidy, safe, and compliant with Occupational Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications / Attributes

• Must hold a Diploma in Remedial Massage, or at least three (3) years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

• Must possess at least two (2) years of relevant work experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist or in a closely related role.

• Strong knowledge of remedial massage techniques and soft tissue injury management.

• Demonstrated ability to assess client conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Experience treating sporting injuries, spinal injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders.

• Proficiency in lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, cupping, relaxation, and deep tissue massage techniques.

• Strong clinical documentation skills and ability to accurately maintain client records.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand client concerns and explain treatment approaches.

• Strong commitment to client care, recovery, workplace safety, and maintaining a professional clinical environment.

Salary Range

$75,000 – $90,000 per annum excluding superannuation.
