Horticulture Farm Manager

Our client, R Vashist & V Vishawjeet, is seeking an experienced and motivated Horticulture Farm Manager to oversee the cultivation, production and operational management of its horticultural farming activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient farm operations, maintaining production quality standards and leading farm personnel to achieve business objectives.

• Horticulture Farm Manager

Job Responsibility:

• Manage and coordinate horticultural production activities, including crop cultivation, harvesting, resource allocation and workforce supervision, to ensure productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

Duties:

• Develop, implement and monitor farm production plans and operational strategies.

• Coordinate planting, cultivation, irrigation, harvesting and post-harvest activities.

• Monitor crop performance, production outputs and resource utilisation to achieve production targets.

• Oversee quality assurance procedures and ensure produce meets required standards.

• Manage labour requirements, allocate work tasks and supervise farm staff.

• Monitor farm equipment, facilities and infrastructure, arranging maintenance where required.

• Maintain production records and prepare operational reports.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant agricultural regulations.

• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders regarding production and operational matters.

Qualifications:

• AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, Farm Management or a related field.

• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in horticultural production, farm operations or agricultural management.

Salary:

• AUD $80,000 – $90,000 per annum + Superannuation

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, permanent position

• 38 hours per week
