Panel Beaters

Greg Wilson Smash Repairs is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Panel Beaters to join their team in Toormina NSW.

Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:

- Remove damaged panels and parts, and remove upholstery and accessories to gain access

- Remove dents by hammering panels

- Straighten damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment

- Replace badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels

- Fill depressions with plastic filler, and filing, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces

- Cut and join replacement sections using welding equipment

- Fit repaired or replacement panels on vehicles and refit body hardware such as door locks and trims

- Assist vehicle body builders in constructing and restoring custom-designed, vintage and other specialty vehicles

- Assist spray-paint vehicles

Skills & Abilities:

- Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent

- Ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified Panel Beater

- A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair

- The ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate on skills and experience
