YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY STARTS HERE Skillinvest is currently seeking Production Assistants to join Australian Plant Proteins dedicated team specialising in plant-based powder processing, packaging and distribution. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing sector and gain hands-on experience in a modern, high-tech facility. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Support daily production activities by operating manufacturing equipment and assisting with plant processes

Work across rotating shifts to maintain continuous plant operations

Pack, label and prepare finished protein powders for dispatch while meeting quality, hygiene and food-safety standards

Follow all safety, quality and operating procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality product output

Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance tasks to keep equipment and production areas in good working order

Identify process or equipment faults and undertake basic maintenance/troubleshooting

IS THIS YOU?

Experience in manufacturing, food production or warehousing

Genuine interest in local farming and Australian-grown produce

Strong attention to detail and able to navigate digital plant systems

Flexible and reliable with a strong commitment to rotating rosters (day & night)

Physical capability to lift bags, move materials and stand for extended periods

Current Forklift Licence is advantageous

Successful applicants will be required to undergo mandatory pre-employment screening including a National Police Check, Medical Assessment, Hearing Test and Drug and Alcohol Screening.
