Telecommunications Lineworker

PUNDIT TEK PTY LTD Pundit Tek PTY LTD is seeking a motivated and skilled Telecommunications Lineworker to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing telecommunications network infrastructure including aerial and underground cabling systems. You will work on a variety of telecommunications projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards, workplace safety regulations, and company procedures.

This role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Benefits Competitive salary package Career growth and development opportunities Supportive and professional team environment Exposure to diverse telecommunications projects Ongoing technical training and upskilling Stable full-time employment Work vehicle and tools provided where applicable Safety-focused workplace culture Task & responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications cables and associated equipment Perform aerial and underground cable installation works Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in telecommunications networks Conduct testing and commissioning of telecommunications systems Read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and network specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively Ensure all works comply with safety standards and industry regulations Perform cable jointing, termination, and splicing activities Complete job reports, maintenance records, and related documentation Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and clients to deliver project outcomes Respond to network outages and maintenance requirements as needed Qualification & experience Relevant trade qualification or telecommunications-related certification Minimum 1–3 years of full-time experience in telecommunications linework or related field Experience with fibre optic and copper network installations highly regarded Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures White Card and relevant telecommunications industry tickets preferred Current driver’s licence required Ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team About Company Pundit Tek PTY LTD is a growing telecommunications services company delivering high-quality network infrastructure, installation, maintenance, and technical support solutions across Australia.
