Civil Engineer

Conan Civil Pty Ltd Conan Civil Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide engineering support across civil construction projects, from planning and design through to construction and project completion. The role involves preparing and reviewing engineering plans, conducting site investigations, coordinating construction activities, monitoring project progress and ensuring works meet design specifications, safety requirements and relevant Australian Standards.

The Civil Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, contractors and other technical personnel to deliver projects efficiently, safely and to a high standard. Benefits Super 12% Task & responsibilities Design, plan and oversee civil engineering and construction projects. Prepare and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications and procedures.

Conduct site investigations, including soil testing and analysis, to assess ground conditions and structural requirements. Assist with the design of foundations, roads, drainage, pipelines and other civil infrastructure. Determine appropriate construction methods, materials and quality standards.

Prepare and monitor project costs, quantities, budgets and variations. Coordinate site activities, labour, materials, equipment and delivery schedules. Develop and monitor construction programs to ensure projects are delivered on time.

Monitor construction progress and ensure works comply with approved designs, specifications and relevant Australian Standards. Assess design changes and variations and their impact on project costs and timelines. Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.

Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, contractors and other engineering professionals to ensure successful project delivery. Qualification & experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Relevant experience in civil engineering or construction projects.

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods and site practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or other relevant engineering software. Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
