Formwork Carpenter

MON KHASAGT PTY This role is responsible for constructing, installing and dismantling formwork for concrete structures, interpreting construction plans, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment, and maintaining compliance with safety requirements and industry standards. Work locations may vary depending on project requirements, and the role may involve working across different construction sites as directed by the employer.

Benefits Full-time permanent employment Stable work with an established construction business Opportunities to work on a range of construction projects Supportive and professional working environment Task & responsibilities Construct, assemble, install and dismantle formwork for slabs, walls, columns, beams, footings and other concrete structures. Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications and site instructions to determine formwork requirements.

Measure, mark, cut and prepare timber, plywood and other formwork materials accurately. Set out, measure, level, align and secure formwork in accordance with drawings, specifications and required tolerances. Install and adjust formwork systems, supports, bracing and associated components to ensure stability and structural integrity.

Inspect completed formwork and make necessary adjustments to ensure correct dimensions, levels, alignment and finish before concrete placement. Work with supervisors, concreters and other trades to coordinate formwork activities and meet project schedules. Maintain tools, equipment and work areas and follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times.

Qualification & experience At least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as a Formwork Carpenter or Carpenter in the construction industry Relevant trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Carpentry, or equivalent skills and experience Demonstrated experience in constructing, installing, adjusting and dismantling formwork for concrete structures Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications and site instructions Competent in measuring, setting out, levelling, aligning and securing formwork accurately Experience using carpentry tools, power tools and formwork equipment safely and effectively Strong understanding of construction site safety requirements and safe work practices Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a construction team Physically fit and capable of performing manual work and working on construction sites About Company MON KHASAGT PTY LTD is an Australian-owned construction company based in Alexandria, New South Wales.
