Experience Required: min 1 year in a relevant role, AHPRA registered Pharmacist

Duties: Some of the duties you will be required to perform include:

• Review prescriptions and patient medication histories to ensure medicines are appropriate, accurately dosed, compatible, and safe before dispensing.

• Prepare, dispense, label, and supply prescription medications in accordance with professional, legal, and pharmacy standards.

• Provide professional advice to patients on the safe and effective use of prescription and non-prescription medicines, including dosage, side effects, and potential interactions.

• Monitor patients’ medication therapy, identify potential drug interactions or contraindications, and liaise with prescribers where required to support safe treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate prescription and medication records, manage the storage of medicines and vaccines, and ensure compliance with requirements for controlled and restricted drugs.
