About the Opportunity

WW SURVEYS PTY LTD is a leading provider of surveying services for major construction projects across Queensland. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions and our team of talented professionals is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the surveying industry.

We're aiming to grow our team of around 50 and build on our four current multi-year tier one projects in Brisbane and Southeast Queensland.

We have multiple full-time positions available, supporting major construction projects. Whether you're just beginning your surveying career or you're an experienced professional seeking a new challenge with a reputable company, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out detailed engineering surveys using the latest surveying equipment and technology

• Compile work-as-executed models

• Preparing accurate survey sketches, create field set out designs and machine control files, calculate volumetric and area quantities and other documentation to support project delivery

• Interrogate infrastructure design and identify issues

• Install, measure and adjust survey control networks

• Collaborating with construction teams to provide surveying expertise and ensure projects remain on track

• Mentoring and supporting junior surveying staff to develop their skills and expertise

• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant standards, regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

• Degree qualified in Surveying

• TMR or RMS experience preferable

• 12d Model office & 12d Field software experience preferable

• Experience with Trimble hardware preferable

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Surveyor, ideally in the construction industry; however we will consider graduates also.

• Thorough knowledge of surveying principles, practices and equipment

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
