RESTAURANT MANAGER

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 + superannuation, depending on experience

Cafe Dolcetto, a busy and well-established café in Yass, NSW, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant/Café Manager to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is confident leading a team, passionate about hospitality, and able to take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the café.

About the Role

As our Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing and leading our café team

Ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere

Staff scheduling, training and day-to-day people management

Maintaining high standards of food, coffee and service

Managing daily café operations

Stock control and ordering

Helping maintain workplace health, safety and hygiene standards

Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

Supporting the business with achieving operational and financial targets

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in café or restaurant management

Strong people management and leadership skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

The ability to work confidently in a busy hospitality environment

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

A hands-on approach and positive attitude

The ability to lead by example and motivate a team

Skills That Will Give You an Advantage

? Barista skills and specialty coffee experience will be highly regarded.

????? Kitchen and cooking experience will also be a strong advantage.

We are particularly interested in someone who can confidently step into different areas of the café when required and understands the hospitality business from both a management and hands-on perspective.

$65,000 – $85,000 + superannuation per year, depending on experience, skills and suitability for the role.

Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate, subject to the candidate meeting the relevant requirements and the business being able to sponsor under the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494).
