About the role

As a graduate accountant, you will work alongside our accountants, managers and partners to deliver a broad range of services to our clients.

You will gain hands-on experience while developing your technical and professional skills in a supportive team environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS and IAS with support from senior team members

• Assisting with audit procedures and audit workpapers

• Supporting clients with taxation and business services matters

• Liaising with the ATO, ASIC and other government agencies on behalf of clients

• Providing administrative support and assisting with ad hoc projects

• Building your accounting, taxation and business advisory skills

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline (or be in the final stages of completing your degree)

• Intention to commence, or be currently undertaking, the CA or CPA program

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• A willingness to learn and develop professionally

• A professional, honest, and client-focused approach

• Experience with Xero, MYOB and Handisoft would be highly regarded
