Position : Full Time

Location : South Australia

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Dean Group of Hotels are currently looking for Chefs who are hardworking and self-motivated professionals that are focused on being an integral member of the teams.

The Dean Group of Hotels is a family owned and operated group of hotels; Largs Pier Hotel in Largs Bay, Macs Hotel in Mount Gambier, The London Tavern in Adelaide, Walkers Arms in Walkerville, Kincraig Hotel in Naracoorte and The Peninsula Hotel in Taperoo.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine

Creativity and high presentation standards

Ability to create dishes with consistency

Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes

Ability to contribute to menu planning

Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements

Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff

Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality

Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering.

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery

Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment

Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry

Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
