ICT Business Analyst

ICT Business Analyst – Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to analyse business requirements, improve business processes and assist with the development and implementation of technology solutions across our organisation.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: 38 hours per week

Salary: $85,000 per annum + superannuation

Location: Sydney, NSW

Key Responsibilities

• Work with management and stakeholders to identify and analyse business requirements.

• Analyse existing business processes, systems and workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Gather, document and evaluate functional and technical requirements.

• Translate business requirements into detailed system specifications and process documentation.

• Develop business process models, workflows, functional specifications and system requirements.

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend appropriate ICT solutions.

• Assist with the implementation, integration and improvement of business information systems.

• Coordinate with developers, technology providers and business stakeholders throughout system development and implementation.

• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing and implementation reviews.

• Investigate system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Prepare technical and business documentation, procedures and user requirements.

• Evaluate proposed ICT solutions against operational and strategic business requirements.

• Assist with integration between CRM, accounting, communications, web and other business platforms.

• Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations regarding business systems and digital processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in ICT business analysis or a closely related role.

• Strong business requirements gathering and process-analysis skills.

• Understanding of system development, integration and implementation processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
