Farm Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic

Kiewa Park Farming is seeking a skilled Farm Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Goolgowi, NSW and ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our fleet of agricultural machinery and transport vehicles. This hands-on role is critical to supporting seeding, spraying, and harvest operations across the farm.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on tractors, headers, air seeders, spray rigs, prime movers, and trailers.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults to minimize downtime.

- Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment including pumps, Utes, trailers, and small engines.

- Manage workshop operations: service records, spare parts, consumables, and safety standards.

- Provide in-field support during peak operations, ensuring machinery is safe and field-ready.

- Adhere to workplace health and safety protocols and compliance requirements.

Skills & Experience

- Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III or higher).

- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in agricultural and/or transport machinery maintenance.

- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across heavy equipment.

- Experience with brands such as Case IH, Western Star, Kenworth, and Cummins.

- Competence in hydraulics, auto-electrics, GPS guidance systems, welding, and fabrication.

- HR/HC license, Forklift, ChemCert, and First Aid tickets are advantageous.

- Ability to work independently and flexibly, including extended hours during seasonal peaks.

Salary range is $75,000-$90,000pa commensurate with experience
