Civil Engineer

ABOUT US

M10 Truss Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of roof trusses, wall frames and floor systems servicing residential and commercial construction projects across Victoria. We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Pakenham, Victoria.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Review engineering drawings, specifications and project documentation to determine project requirements.

· Prepare and develop structural design solutions for residential and commercial building projects.

· Conduct engineering calculations and assessments to ensure structural integrity and compliance with relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).

· Analyse project specifications and provide technical recommendations to improve efficiency, constructability and cost-effectiveness.

· Prepare material take-offs, cost estimates and technical documentation for construction projects.

· Liaise with builders, architects, project managers and clients regarding engineering and construction requirements.

· Identify and resolve engineering and design issues arising during planning, production and construction stages.

· Undertake site inspections and provide technical support during project implementation.

· Ensure designs and engineering documentation comply with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.

· Assist in continuous improvement of engineering systems, processes and design methodologies.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification engineering experience.

· Strong understanding of Australian construction practices, engineering principles and NCC requirements.

· Experience interpreting architectural and structural drawings.

· Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
