We are seeking an experienced pastry cook with a strong background in pastry for our shop. The

successful applicant must be committed to the pastry team on a daily basis.

You must be a team player with a positive attitude and a sense of responsibility. Additionally, you

should be willing to work both in a team environment and independently.

Salary Range: $79,423(plus superannuation)

The Roles

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

? Create a variety of pastries, including cakes, pies, and bread and engage the interest of customers

? Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful

and exciting

? Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within

budget

? Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking

? Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently

? Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel

? Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards

The position Requires

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work

environment.

? Have a right to work in Australia

? Previous experience (at least 2 years) in a similar role with references

? Must be fully available over a 7-day roster

? Be able to work under pressure

? Be a team player

? Highly organized and efficient
