Seeking Forklift Drivers with Food Production experience!

Located in Laverton VIC (Western Suburbs)

Rotating roster on Day AND Afternoon Monday - Saturday

Ordinary pay rate of $48.29ph (including casual loading)

Programmed are currently seeking experienced counterbalance forklift drivers with food production experience to join their client in Laverton who specialize in the manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution of Milk and Dairy products.

This position involves working a rotating roster on Day (6:30am - 2:30pm) and Afternoon (2:30pm - 10:30pm) shifts requiring availability Monday - Saturday. Successful applicants must have a current valid LF forklift licence with at least 2 years of forklift driving experience, as well as previous experience working in a food manufacturing site on a production line.

About your new role / Key Responsibilities:

Rotating roster on Day and Afternoon shift

Day shift pay rate of $48.29ph (Including 25% casual loading)

Afternoon shift pay rate of $54.08ph (including 25% casual loading and afternoon shift loading)

Use of Counterbalance forklifts to assist with loading and unloading trucks & containers when required for inward and outwards goods

Tugger Operating / case picking

Food Handling in a cold storage environment

Moving crates off production lines and stacking them using trolleys

Crate sorting and general laboring required

Stocktake & Stock Replenishment - Assist with the replenishment of stock in pick bays

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Receiving inwards and outwards goods, as well as creating con notes on SAP

Picking & Packing Orders with RF Scanners

Pallet Stacking & Pallet Wrapping

Manually lifting up to 15kg

Qualifications and Experience:

LF Forklift Licence with at least 2 Years Experience as a Forklift Operator

At Least 2 years of experience working at a food production site

Must be comfortable working in a cold environment handling Milk and Dairy Products

Must have a strong warehousing background with a consistent work history

Must have experience working in a large distribution Centre / fast paced environments

Extensive knowledge of warehouse distribution activities

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral

Ability to adhere to timeframes/deadlines
