Mechanical Fitter

DC Construction require a Mechanical Fitter on a full time basis in Perth, WA.

Duties include:

Complete on site service and maintenance for mechanical and non mechanical plant and specialist equipment, following manufacture guidelines and company processes.

Repairs and maintenance of the company fleet.

Overhaul, diagnosis and repair of hydraulic cylinders, motors, pumps and valves.

Hydraulic hose, tube and pipe system construction and installation.

Replaces parts, such as pistons, bearings, gears, valves, and bushings, using engine lathes, boring machines, handtools, and precision measuring instruments.

Repair and replace defective wiring/gauges.

Heats, forms, and dresses metal parts, using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment.

Must have at least 3 years experience in the trade.

Salary will be $45–$50 per hour depending on experience.
