Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Engineering Technologist to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis.
This is a practical, hands-on role focused on providing technical support across our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with engineers, production and manufacturing teams to help troubleshoot technical issues, improve processes, and ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse existing manufacturing equipment, processes and engineering systems to identify performance limitations and opportunities for technological improvement.
• Modify and adapt engineering technologies, equipment, components and systems to enhance efficiency, reliability and production outcomes.
• Apply modified and new engineering technologies in the testing, commissioning and implementation of engineering projects and process improvements.
• Investigate technical issues affecting equipment and manufacturing processes, and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Collect, analyse and interpret technical and production data to support the evaluation and continuous improvement of engineering technologies and systems.
• Design, develop and implement technical improvements to manufacturing processes and equipment in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
• Conduct inspections, performance assessments and testing of equipment and systems to ensure compliance with engineering standards, procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including reports, drawings, test records and modification records.
• Provide technical advice on the application and performance of engineering technologies to production and engineering personnel.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of engineering projects involving the introduction or upgrade of technologies and systems.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A relevant qualification in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly desirable.
• Strong practical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Position details: 38 hrs per week plus 240 hrs guaranteed overtime per annum.
Base hourly rate $34.00(ordinary) $51.00(overtime) Total annual salary $79,423.00
