We are seeking Projects Engineer and join our hardworking team to directly report to our EPC Manager/ Branch Manager.

Key Accountabilities

To Provide the Sales Team with Technical and Engineering Support and take Projects from Conception through to delivery including:

The assessment of clients’ needs

Designing and Engineering of Solutions

Estimating & Tendering

Compilation & Implementation of QA Documentation

Commissioning & Projects Handover

To provide and ensure the highest standard of service to all Clients and Staff by performing duties in a highly efficient, effective and professional manner while adhering to all Corporate and Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.

To maintain the integrity of our Corporate Culture by always aligning with the Vision and Values of the Organisation.

Authority

As an employee of the Dowdens Group, you have the authority to:

Stop work and conduct a SLAM if you feel an employee or client is at risk

Report an employee to your Direct Report if they are not adhering to Policies and Procedures

Address a Client Complaint and record the complaint using the MPD system

Recognise an employee’s hard work or outstanding behaviour by nominating them in the Values Program

Operate a Company Vehicle in accordance with the Company Motor Vehicle Policy

Utilise an assigned Company Mobile Phone in accordance with the Mobile Phone Policy

Utilise a Company Laptop / Computer in accordance with the Computer Use, Internet Use, Social Media and Email Usage Policies

Duties and Responsibilities

Offer approved products and services to customers by way of quotation or tender working to a deadline

Lead design concepts through to deliverables regarding water treatment and handling solutions

Negotiate with clients and stake holders at all levels to win contracts

Work with Internal Drafting Resources to Develop Engineering Drawings to Approved Specifications

Review customer expectations including OH&S, QA and contractual requirements

Assisting the Project / Construction Manager with the following: Procurement, Design and Detail, Site meetings, QA Implementation, Commissioning & Project Handover to the Client

Develop quality documentation including development of quality plans, inspection and testing procedures and inspection methods as required by the contract

Prepare commissioning and handover documentation

Compile “as built” and Material Data Reports as required by the contract

Produce operation, instruction and maintenance manuals for the equipment/services supplied

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in same or similar role

High level product knowledge or demonstrated ability to develop knowledge
