CNC Programmer

We are seeking experienced and qualified CNC PROGRAMMER to join our team of hardworking professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, developing, and optimising programs for Daito CNC Beam Lines and CNC Bandsaws to support accurate, efficient, and safe processing of steel sections.

Your key responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

CNC Programming

Generate CNC programs for Daito Beam Lines and CNC Bandsaws.

Import and prepare DSTV/NC1 files.

Validate machining features including drilling, marking, slotting, and cut lengths.

Apply correct tools, offsets, speeds, and feeds.

Optimise cutting and nesting sequences.

Conduct simulation checks.

Production Integration

Coordinate with schedulers and operators.

Prepare setup sheets and job packets.

Ensure part numbering and traceability as per customer specifications

Quality & Compliance

Verify programs match drawings and specifications.

Support first-off inspections.

Maintain version control.

Equipment & Process Support

Troubleshoot programming issues.

Continuous Improvement

Identify optimisation opportunities.

Maintain programming templates and macros.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Experience with Daito Beam Line programming and CNC Bandsaws.

Proficient with DSTV/NC1 and CAD/CAM workflows.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Knowledge of steel profiles.
