Placed.au is looking for a full-time Content Developer for our client in Clayton, Victoria. This role is responsible for designing, developing, programming, integrating, testing, and maintaining interactive multimedia products and digital learning experiences. The position creates engaging digital products, simulations, educational applications, and client-facing multimedia content using programming and multimedia technologies including Unity, C#, interactive graphics, animation, video, audio, 3D models, websites, and digital learning platforms.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive multimedia products, digital learning courses, simulations, and interactive experiences using Unity, C#, and other relevant technologies.

• Develop programmed interactions, application logic, game mechanics, assessment workflows, user feedback systems, and other interactive functionality.

• Translate educational, technical, and business concepts into engaging interactive digital and multimedia experiences.

• Design and develop interactive multimedia components, prototypes, tools, and digital functionality to support multimedia and digital learning products.

• Integrate programming and software functionality with graphics, animations, video, audio, 3D models, visual effects, and interactive elements.

• Create, manipulate, adapt, and integrate digital multimedia assets for interactive applications, websites, learning products, and client-facing digital content.

• Develop interactive simulations, scenarios, prototypes, and digital environments incorporating multimedia, programmed interactions, and user interfaces.

• Design and develop reusable digital components and multimedia functionality to improve product consistency, scalability, stability, and performance.

• Develop and maintain websites and digital interfaces, including responsive layouts, interactive features, visual content, and technical enhancements.

• Design and implement user interfaces and interactive visual components to improve usability, engagement, and the overall digital user experience.

• Develop and enhance white-labelled digital products and reusable multimedia solutions for deployment across different clients and delivery environments.

• Test, debug, troubleshoot, and optimise interactive applications, websites, multimedia products, and digital learning systems.

• Conduct functional, usability, and compatibility testing and implement improvements based on testing results and user feedback.

• Evaluate technical requirements and feasibility and recommend appropriate technologies, development approaches, and implementation solutions.

• Collaborate with educators, subject matter experts, designers, developers, management, and clients to determine multimedia, technical, and digital product requirements.

• Support digital learning structures by combining educational content, multimedia, interactive technology, simulations, and assessment functionality.

• Prepare, configure, and deploy digital and multimedia resources for online and face-to-face learning environments and digital platforms.

• Maintain technical documentation covering development processes, digital products, workflows, system functionality, and technical procedures.

• Provide technical expertise across digital development projects and advise stakeholders on development options, technical limitations, and solutions.

Qualifications / Attributes

• Must hold a relevant qualification in Multimedia, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of multimedia design and digital content development.

• Demonstrated technical capability in Unity and C# programming.

• Experience developing interactive software, applications, simulations, and digital learning products.

• Strong understanding of interactive graphics, animation, 3D content, video, audio, and digital asset integration.

• Experience designing user interfaces and interactive digital experiences.

• Strong technical testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimisation skills.

• Ability to create, adapt, manage, and integrate digital multimedia assets.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, designers, developers, clients, management, and other stakeholders.

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple digital development requirements.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and solutions to stakeholders.

Salary Range

$75,000 – $85,000 per annum excluding superannuation.
