Full-Time Chef – California Republic, St Ives

California Republic is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team in St Ives, NSW.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and can consistently maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard

* Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations

* Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation standards

* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory

* Ensure food safety, hygiene and workplace standards are maintained

* Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team

* Assist with menu preparation and development where required

* Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen

Requirements:

* Relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent experience

* Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen

* Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques

* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure

* Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team

* Available to work weekends and public holidays as required

Position: Full-Time Chef

Location: St Ives, NSW 2075

Hours: Approximately 38 hours per week

Salary: $80,000-85,000 per annum + superannuation
