About the Role

As Resort Manager, you'll take ownership of the overall success of the resort, balancing people leadership, operational excellence, customer satisfaction and financial performance.

You'll lead a team of animal care and customer service professionals, ensuring every pet receives exceptional care while delivering an outstanding experience for their humans too.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys leading by example and making a genuine impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency and high animal welfare standards.

Manage, coach and develop a team of animal care and customer service professionals.

Oversee budgets, rostering and business performance to drive strong commercial outcomes.

Deliver an outstanding experience for both pets and their owners, building long-term customer loyalty.

Ensure a safe, clean and enriching environment for all animals in care.

Weekend work may be required

About You

You are an experienced leader with a passion for customer service, team development and animal welfare.

Leadership experience within hospitality, operations, animal care or a service-based environment.

Experience with P&L and Operational Management

Strong people management and coaching skills.

Commercial acumen, including budgeting and operational performance management.

Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

A hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A genuine love of animals and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Highly Regarded:

Experience within animal care, pet services or veterinary environments.

Experience managing a resort, accommodation facility or similar operation.

Qualifications in Business, Management, Hospitality, Animal Studies or Veterinary Nursing.
